Harvest for Hunger

Collection Dates: Monday, March 4 – Thursday, March 21

Please have students bring non-perishable food items, paper grocery items, cleaning products, personal hygiene items, etc. to their classrooms by Thursday, March 21st. There will be collection boxes in each classroom for all Elementary grade levels (PK-5th). The two classes with he most donations (based on weight), will win a pizza party.

Middle School and High School students may also participate by bringing items to the Emery site. There will be a box by Angie’s office to collect donations. Community members may also participate by bringing in donated items to either school office.

CHS also makes a monetary donation to the Bridgewater Food Pantry based on the weight of items collected; $1.00 for every pound donated.

All proceeds will go to the Bridgewater Area Food Pantry.

Suggested Items:

  • Laundry soap 50-75 oz.
  • Dish soap 14-20 oz.
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • Facial tissues
  • Personal hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products etc.)
  • Non-perishable food items
